This page gathers every Dispatch.IO command on Fluxer, sorted by topic, with a one-line explanation and a link to the page that details it. It also explains what to know before using them: how to type a command, who can use what, which language the bot answers in and how often you can run a command.
It is for everyone: curious members, moderators and community owners.
Typing a command
The prefix, the name, then the arguments.
Fluxer has no slash commands: Dispatch.IO commands are typed in a message, like this:
- Write the community's prefix,
!by default (see!prefix). - Stick the command name to it, or one of its aliases:
!rank,!rang,!level… - Add the arguments, separated by spaces: a member (
@Alexor their ID), a channel (#general), a duration (10m,2h,7d), then free text (reason, message…). - Send the message.
!help
!info user @Alex
!timeout @Alex 10m Spam in #general
You can replace the prefix with a mention of the bot: @Dispatch.IO rank. In this documentation's cards, <argument> is required, [argument] optional, a | b means "one or the other" and … "the rest of the message".
Depending on the command, the reply is public (it stays in the channel), short and temporary (deleted after 5 seconds with your command) or private (sent by direct message). See Buttons, forms and replies on Fluxer.
When a bot reply has a colored border, it uses the community's color (set on the dashboard). If you picked an Accent color on your dashboard, your cards use it.
Here is what happens when you run a command:

Internal commands
Three other commands exist: !badge, !flag and !manage-badge. The Dispatch.IO team uses them to manage the bot's badges and blacklist, and they only answer its creators. They are described on a page reserved to the team: Internal commands.
Who can use what
Permissions, ADMIN and MODO roles, enabled modules.
The "Who can use it" column gives the Fluxer permission the bot checks. Fluxer does not hide commands: a member without the permission can type the command, but the bot replies "You need the … permission" for 5 seconds. Details, with the ADMIN and MODO staff roles, are in Permissions and roles.
A Dispatch.IO blacklisted account can't use any command: the bot shows the blacklist reason (and the support link when the blacklist can be lifted).
Language of the replies
On Fluxer, the bot always answers in the community language, set on the dashboard (English when the bot arrives). In direct messages, outside a community, it answers in English. Command names don't change with the language; several have French aliases (!aide, !rang, !sondage…).
Usage limits
How often you can run a command.
The "Limit" column says how many times one member can run the command over a period: "3 / 10 s" means 3 times every 10 seconds. A duration alone ("5 s") is a delay between two uses. Beyond it, the bot replies "You have reached the limit…" with the time to wait. Dispatch.IO's creators are not limited.
!bump also has the community's bump cooldown (depending on its plan), shown in its reply.
When a command doesn't answer
The most common cases.
| What you see | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Nothing at all | Wrong prefix, or the bot can't see the channel | Mention the bot to learn the prefix; check that its role has View channel and Send messages. |
| "You need the … permission" | Your role lacks the command's Fluxer permission | Ask an administrator for it. |
| "I'm missing the … permission" | The bot's role lacks the permission | Add it to the bot's role. |
| "Usage: …" | A missing or mistyped argument | Follow the syntax shown, or !help <command>. |
| "… the level system is disabled" | The command's module is off | Turn it on on the dashboard. |
| "This command is disabled for now" | The Dispatch.IO team suspended it (maintenance) | Try again later. |
| "An error occurred during the command" | Temporary problem | Try again in a moment; if it keeps happening, !report bug. |
