Terms of use

The rules for using the Dispatch.IO bot and its website.

Draft version

1. Purpose

These terms of use govern the use of the Discord bot Dispatch.IO and of its website (dashboard, documentation, leaderboards), published by Dispatch.IO™ Groupe [legal form, registered office, registration number]. Using the bot or the website means accepting them.

2. The service

Dispatch.IO adds features to Discord servers: welcome and goodbye messages, levels and streaks, tickets, role reactions, temporary channels, bump, RSS and social network alerts, moderation and anti-raid, music and radios, and a dashboard to configure them. Some features require a Premium subscription (see the terms of sale).

3. Access

The bot is added to a server by a member who has the Manage Server permission. The dashboard is used by signing in with Discord. You must comply with the Discord Terms of Service and be old enough to use Discord in your country.

4. Your commitments

You agree not to:

  • use the bot or the website to break the law or Discord's rules (spam, harassment, scams, illegal content);
  • try to get around the limits of the service, access what you are not allowed to, or harm its operation (abusive automation, attacks, reverse engineering);
  • use the service to collect data about other users without their consent.

Server administrators are responsible for the configuration they set up (messages, roles given, moderation).

5. Moderation of the service

In case of breach, Dispatch.IO may, without notice: remove the bot from a server, ban a server or a user from the bot (blacklist), or suspend access to the dashboard. A request to review a decision can be sent to contact@dispatchio.fr.

6. Availability

The service is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it available, but interruptions can happen (maintenance, Discord outages, incidents). The current state is shown on the status page.

7. Intellectual property

The bot, the website, their code, design and content belong to Dispatch.IO™ Groupe. The content you create (messages, images, configuration) remains yours; you allow us to store and display it to provide the service.

8. Liability

Dispatch.IO cannot be held liable for indirect damage, for the use of the service by server members, or for the actions of Discord.

9. Changes

These terms can change. The date of the last update is shown on this page; significant changes are announced in the patch notes.
